Member Spotlight!
Erika Breivogel, BSN, RN, CCRN, is a highly respected and dedicated member of CIC AACN. We are thrilled to announce that Erika will be presenting a podium presentation on ICU delirium at NTI 2025, alongside Nicole Kupchik!
As some of you may already know, Nicole Kupchik has practiced as a critical care nurse for over 20 years. She obtained a Nursing Degree from Purdue University in 1993 and a Master of Nursing from the University of Washington in 2008. Nicole holds certification as a CCNS, CCRN, PCCN and CMC. In 2013, she founded Nicole Kupchik Consulting and Education and frequently teaches review courses nationally.
Wow! It is quite the honor for one of our Central Indiana AACN Chapter members to present with Nicole! Erika will do great! Let’s all support her and give her a big applaud!
Erika is an employee at IU Health Methodist, working in multi-specialty critical care. Since 2023, she has been a distinguished nurse at her facility and serves as a unit charge nurse.
Additionally, Erika is a member of the nursing professional council (NPG) at both the unit level and the adult academic health center (AAHC) for IU Health. For those attending NTI in New Orleans next month or participating virtually, please ensure you don't miss this exciting topic.
As you are aware, delirium is a significant issue in the ICU world, and we are proud of Erika for bringing attention to this crucial topic.
