Hello Chapter Circle of Excellence Award Winners!

AACN believes acute and critical care nurses deserve recognition for all that they do every day for patients, families and our profession. That is why we honor and support our members through the Circle of Excellence and Beacon Award for Excellence programs.

At NTI 2018, we will again recognize and celebrate our award recipients. We look forward to honoring you and invite you to participate in the following activities:

Sunday, May 20 – Chapter Leadership Development Workshop (LDW) – 3:30-4:00 pm

In the Grand Ballroom of the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, at 425 Summer St.

The Chapter Circle of Excellence Awards will be presented by President Chris Schulman, President-Elect Lisa Riggs, AACN Certification Corporation Chairperson Karen Kesten, and your Chapter Advisors during LDW. All chapter members are invited; registration for LDW is not required to attend the awards presentation. Detailed instructions for the awards presentation at LDW are attached to this email. Please be sure to share this information with all of your chapter members who will participate.

Monday, May 21 – Chapter Best Practice Roundtable – 12:00-1:15 pm

In room 260 at the Convention Center.

Join us for this interactive session designed to facilitate sharing of best practices among AACN chapters as they further AACN’s mission within their communities.

Wednesday, May 23 – Super Session Celebration Parade

This day’s Super Session is being planned as a “Day of Recognition,” where our community will acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those chapters being awarded. We have planned a special celebratory program that is aimed at showing appreciation for the exceptional work of our awardees as well as honoring everyone in our profession. All members of your chapter attending NTI are invited to participate in this celebration. Detailed instructions for the awards presentation at Wednesday’s Super Session are attached to this email. Please be sure to share this information with all of your chapter members who will participate in the parade.
